When ECPay recurring billing takes the first period
Zero Setup takes a NT$2,000 seat deposit, credited to month one. ECPay recurring billing charges period one at authorisation. Authorise 24 months and the deposit becomes a 25th charge.
The arithmetic that is actually correct
Subtract prepaid periods from the term. NT$2,000/month with a NT$2,000 deposit means 23 authorised periods, not 24. Recurring billing starts after launch and acceptance.
Why we publish it
Customers will not ask whether that extra charge is 'how recurring billing works'. They will think they were overcharged. Put the timing in the terms and on checkout.
